Women who use hormonal contraceptives to preserve pregnancy should switch to non-medicamental protection at least two-three months before pregnancy planning. It is recommended to start taking folic acid three months before to reduce the risk of neurotubule malformation.

You should restrict alcohol consumption in period when you conceive a child. Alcohol is very dangerous in conceiving period and at early pregnancy stage when all fetus organs are formed and risk of various pathologies is high.
